More and more women are turning to CBD to help them better manage their health and wellness. In fact, surveys and studies indicate that more women than men use CBD. They also indicate that women use CBD for many different reasons. Here’s the top 4 reasons why women like to use CBD.
Many people who struggle with anxiety also tend to struggle with sleep. An anxious and stressed out mind can keep some people from falling asleep and may even wake them up during the night. Many women have found that a dose of CBD before bedtime can help them to fall asleep easier and get better rest. Unsurprisingly, millennial women dealing with the stresses of modern life reported using CBD for sleep more than any other generation.
From menstrual pain to the pain of childbirth, women deal with pain that men will never experience. In fact, it’s believed that women have actually developed a higher pain tolerance than men for this exact reason.
While younger women are more likely to use CBD for anxiety, older women are more likely to use it for pain. CBD won’t magically cure your pain, but it’s anti-inflammatory effects may allow it to turn down the dial on inflammatory pain.
Speaking of pain, some women also prefer to keep some CBD on hand in order to deal with menstrual pain and other symptoms. CBD isn’t a miracle cure by any means, but it may be able to take the edge off of frustrating PMS symptoms by potentially helping to stabilize mood and minimize pain.
New to CBD? Don’t Give Up!
If you’re new to CBD and aren’t experiencing the effects you hoped you would, don’t give up!
Just one or two doses may not be enough. Many people who successfully use CBD to manage their health have had time to experiment with different doses and consumption methods, and have given their body enough time to adjust to CBD. If you find that CBD isn’t doing what you want it to, try a different dose or taking it at a different time or in a different form. If you still aren’t experiencing the effects you desire after a couple of weeks of regular use, then maybe CBD just isn’t for you.
